Welcome to The White Hart

Located in Newbold on Stour

The White Hart, Newbold on Stour, welcomes you with open fires, flagstone floors and a wealth of oak beams all adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere of this 16th century traditional country pub and restaurant. Situated in the village of Newbold on Stour on the A3400, between the historic market towns of Shipston on Stour and Stratford upon Avon, The White Hart is an ideal place to stop for a drink, lunch or evening meal. Dog Friendly. We can cater for large parties and coaches but by appointment only please.

We offer home cooked food from our extensive menu including delicious tempting starters, hearty satisfying main meals and sumptuous homemade puddings. We have a specials board in addition to our normal menus, which changes to reflect seasonal availability. On Sunday lunchtimes our menu includes traditional Sunday roast. We serve well kept real ales and a comprehensive selection of wines.

The White Hart is also a great venue for any type of celebration. Our restaurant can comfortably cater for up to 50 seated guests.

We have a large car park to the side and rear of the pub with a garden area at the back. Alternatively, why not sit outside at the front of the pub and watch the world go by.

If you need a place to stay, there are a variety nearby. Poplars Farmhouse B&B is in the village, the Gothic Ettington Park Hotel is only 1/4 mile away and Whitchurch Farm B & B is 2 miles away.

For those of you after a challenge, why not try your hand at 'Ring the Bull', a traditional pub game where you have to try to hook the ring over the hook in the bull's nose. It's by the big fireplace in the front bar. We have a smaller back bar with pool table and TV for those wanting other entertainments.

We look forward to seeing you soon...
